job interviews

Even for the most fearless amongst us, job interviews can be nerve wracking. In order to give us the best chance of success we tend to prepare for many of the difficult questions we anticipate, questions like:

Why should we hire you? What can you do for us that other candidates can’t?What are your key strengths and weaknesses?Of course, you can never predict how an interview will go and what questions you will get. You might get an interviewer who fires one tough question at you after the other, or one that turns the interview into a more comfortable, natural two-way conversation. Preparing, therefore is difficult. In most cases we practice the answers to a long list of possible questions. The problem is that this can leave you over-prepared and as a consequence your pre-conceived answers can come across a bit robotic.

Here are sixty things to be grateful for in our lives:

1. Your parents - for giving birth to you. Because if there is no them, there will not be you.
2. Your family – for being your closest kin in the world.
3. Your friends – for being your companions in life.
4. Sense of sight – for letting you see the colors of life.
5. Sense of hearing - for letting you hear trickle of rain, the voices of your loved ones, and the harmonious chords of music.

Autumn

I have long believed that the very best time for Sydney gardens is early autumn: in other words, right now! The weather is generally mild, with most of the ferocity of summer behind us.
There is a slight crisp note to the early morning air and much of the humidity has gone. And this point in the year sees the convergence in flowering of many of the plants that flourish so well in our climate to create stunning garden pictures.
Autumn, more than any other season, induces in me a sort of hysterical gardening euphoria, that makes me want to spend hours in the garden.
This is the ideal time to start thinking about moving around plants, putting new plants into gaps created by decluttering, and visiting nurseries, gardens and plant fairs for inspiration (and more plants).
Love Autumn, it"s almost as if a magic switch goes on. The air is crisper, the light softer, you can actually loll in the sun like a cat.
My Autumn garden is an absolute joy. The plants we have been nurturing through the year ready for this, our special time, bloom on and on. The bees are loving it and making very sure I don"t cut anything back! Spring, somehow manages to happen regardless and doesn"t last for long, but Summer and Autumn make everything we do in our gardens worthwhile.
